SR-582 Widening Project between I-75 and SR-199 in Bowling Green, OH

Public Informational Meeting: November 29, 2017

The Krause & Kinsman Law Firm invites property owners to attend a public educational workshop relating to the SR-582 Widening Project between I-75 and SR-199 on Wednesday, November 29 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Best Western Falcon Plaza located at 1450 E. Wooster St. Bowling Green, OH 43402.

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) proposes to widen SR-582 between I-75 and SR-199. The project will improve a 3.5-mile portion of SR-582 located in Middleton and Webster Townships, Wood County Ohio. The project extends from Mercer Road east to approximately 1000 feet east of the intersection with SR-199. The intent of this project is the enhance roadway standards and move the roadway further from the guardrail.

Unfortunately, to complete the planned public project, it is expected that the ODOT will use the power of eminent domain to acquire the necessary private property.
